It was 80 degrees and sunny today. I enjoyed driving my GTI to my Moms retirement home, then to the Government center to get building permits, and finally to my Moms empty house so I could spend the rest of the beautiful day trapped indoors with bottles of Simple Green and many, many rolls of paper towels. Turns out my Mom was sort of a “minor” hoarder and never cleaned her windows, or much else. We’ve already had the painters in painting the whole interior, but the windows, kitchen, and bathroom are all me. 6 hours of cleaning and it’s still not done
